For this chronicle, a serif font for the text was mixed with a sans serif font for chapter headings and running titles. The blue and gray from the coporate design of the hospital was included in the design. The book is divided into a main and marginal column. The marginal column contains the footnotes and illustrations, which are also arranged in the main column or column-spreading. The chapters start with a picture on the left, detailed quotations were set with a light gray background. A detailed appendix supplements the book.
