1997 – 2000 Apprenticeship as a photographer

Since 2000, I have worked as a freelance photographer for magazines, companies, publishing houses and artists.

2002 – 2008 Studied Communication Design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle with an academic degree diploma.

08/2006 – 02/2007 Erasmus semester at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts Enschede, Netherlands

2009 Publication ”Publishers in Leipzig – portraits and interviews”, nominated for the ”Saxon National Award for Design” 2009

2011 Photo series ”Imagination” – photographs of blind and visually handicapped people about beauty.

11/2011 – 01/2012 Photo project about everyday life in Israel. Stay in the Artists` Residence Herzliya as well in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Tiberias.

2013 Publication “Israel. Normality of a Country”. Exhibitions in the Ariowitsch-Haus Leipzig, the City Library Leipzig and Jewish community centre Berlin.

2015 2nd Award at the 18th Women´s Awards of the SPD Parliamentary Party in the Saxonian Parliament for the photo project “Imagination“.

since 2015 board member of the female artists association GEDOK Gruppe Leipzig/Sachsen e.V.

2016 Moderation of the GEDOK series "Art in Conversation" initiated by me in 2015, which presents women working in the arts and creative fields.
Conversation partners were: Annetta Militzke (publisher) – Jennifer Sonntag (author, host of a talk show and social educator) – Heidi Stecker (curator, lecturer) – Ilka Wonschik (art historian) about Chava Pressburger (artist) – Brunhild Fischer (musician, chairman GEDOK Leipzig).

2017 Presentation of “Art in conversation“: “Exhibition fee“ with Elke Pietsch (curator and former gallery owner) and Priska Streit (former Board member of the BBK) / “A Quarter Century of Künstlergut Prösitz“
with Ute Hartwig-Schulz (head of Künstlergut) and Christine D. Hölzig (art historian)

2018 4-week stay in March and April in Japan for a photo project with stations in Tokyo, Fuijsawa, Takatsuki (Kyoto / Osaka), Inuyama, Nara and Hiroshima with the support of the German-Japanese association Halle / Saalekreis and the Japanese-German association Tokyo and Osaka.
